Dear Birthparent(s),

As you are dealing with what must be a very overwhelming situation, we do not intend to burden you with the details of our own painful struggles and losses in our attempts to become parents. Presumably, this is a burden we share with all the couples you will view here. We hope that one prospective family will truly feel right for you, making this decision a little easier. While it is probably difficult to get a good sense of the individuals behind the letters and photos, we hope that our efforts will enable you to begin to know us as we are.

We live in a large, two story, century-old farmhouse in a rural area. We love to work on the house in the winter and are trying to restore it bit by bit. In warmer weather we like to be outside either working in the yard and garden or swimming in our pool. It is very peaceful and quiet here. We live close to our families and a child would have numerous cousins to play with. We enjoy getting together with them and with our friends, who also have young children. We live in a school district well-known for its excellent school system.

Our dog Goldie, is wonderful and gentle with children. He has boundless energy that would keep any child excited for hours and is terribly affectionate. Our 2 year old adopted daughter, Jody, can't wait to share her playtime with a new baby!!
